MY SERVICES

I offer all kinds of interpretation and translation services. I am professional and work under a strict code of conduct so my clients can trust that I will be impartial and will keep their information confidential. I am a member of well-recognised affiliations such as the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL) and the National Register of Public Service Interpreters (NRPSI).

  • Conference Interpretation. A simultaneous interpretation where I sit in an isolated booth, listen to the speaker through a headset and give the translation into a microphone, which is wirelessly transmitted to headsets worn by audiences (this includes RSI or remote simultaneous/ conference interpretation using various platforms such as Zoom, Interprefy, Kudo etc.).

  • Consecutive Interpretation. A mode of interpreting in which the speaker makes a speech (or says a few sentences) whilst the interpreter takes notes. The interpreter then reproduces what the speaker has said for the audience. Commonly used in one-on-one or small group settings where I maintain strict standards of professionalism and exceptional linguistic and interpersonal skills to help facilitate interactions between two languages.

  • Simultaneous Interpretation (chuchotage). A simultaneous interpretation but without the technology. It is whispered into the ear of the person who requires interpreting. It takes place when there is usually only one person within an audience that requires interpreting in that specific language. Includes recorded simultaneous interpretation.

  • Sight Translation. Reading a document or piece of writing in the original language and translating it out loud in the target language. It is an option for businesses or other professionals to receive or convey the meaning of certain writings at short notice. It is mostly, though not exclusively, used in courtrooms, hospitals and conference rooms. Deposition transcripts, agreements and prescription forms are among the documents that are sight translated the most in these situations.

  • Translation of documents from Thai into English and vice versa.
